Pinchuk Art Centre — is the international center of contemporary art, which was opened in 2006 in Kyiv. It displays paintings, miniatures, compositions, installations, and sculptures assembled from all over the world. The exponents of the exhibition are constantly being renewed. Anyone can attend this center absolutely for free.

A Tour to Pinchuk Art Centre

PinchukArtCentre is located in the very heart of the Ukrainian capital, in the old Bessarabian Quarter. It’ll take you only 5 minutes to get it if you stay at the five-star Premier Palace Hotel. The center occupies almost the whole 6-floor building. The first four floors of the building set up video installations, exhibition halls, a gallery, while the last floor has a popular city cafe called “One Love Coffee” and the administration office.


For over 10 years PinchukArtCentre remains to be one of the most popular places both for locals and guests of Kyiv. One of the most grandiose art platforms in Ukraine demonstrates a wide range of various projects, original ideas which arouse plenty of interest among the youths. This institution manages to depict the essence of contemporary art, social and intellectual messages into society.


Awards and Educational Programs

PinchukArtCentre holds the annual Award Ceremony of the international prize for the young artists. Around 5000 entry applications are sent to the center every year. The members of the committee choose only twenty the most talented participants. During the contest, the visitors can admire their works in the gallery. The exponents are represented in various forms: sculptures, installations, video projects, performances etc. The winner gets a prize money worth 100 thousand UAH and an opportunity to take a training period with one of the famous artists. The contest is held twice a year.


Pinchuk Art Centre

In 2011, PinchukArtCentre started the first educational project called the “Curational Platform”. The Curational Platform, as well as the Award Ceremony, is organized on a competitive basis. The coordinators select several Ukrainians who want to learn how to run the exhibitions and to obtain the knowledge from the international art-specialist. The lucky ones get the educational program which lasts two full years.


One Love Coffee

Right under the rooftop, you shall find a marvelous cafe with a panoramic view of the city. One Love Coffee is considered to be the business card of PinchukArtCentre. It became a place which often throws various events including lectures, seminars, and even parties. The visitors can enjoy a cup of delicious coffee or have dinner. One Love Coffee is a perfect place to spend time with friends, hold a business meeting, or anyone who wants to enjoy a stunning view in a company of an interesting book from the private collection of the cafe. And after a cup of coffee, you can walk to the National House of Organ and Chamber Music also known as the Roman Catholic Church of St. Nicholas.
