EgyptAir

In 1933, Egyptair performed the first flight between Cairo and Alexandria. From 1935 to 1971, the company had operated flights under the Misr Airlines brand, and only in 1972, it returned the original Egyptair name. The main transport hub is based at Cairo International Airport, CAI. In 2008, the airline became a member of Star Alliance and signed joint operation agreements with the world's leading air carriers, which significantly expanded its route network. The airline operates regular flights to more than 70 countries around the world and 15 domestic flights to cities in Egypt. In early 2002, the company became a major holding company, combining Egypt Cargo, Egypt Tourism, engineering services, and medical services. The golden image of the sky god Horus, most worshiped in Ancient Egypt, is the airline's logo.

Egyptair Fleet

As of the beginning of 2020, the airline's fleet consisted of 85 modern airliners. Until 2025, five airplanes will join the fleet.
