The company offers its passengers two classes of service — economy and business/executive. Economy class fares are divided into 4 groups.

Economy travel class:

• economy discount — this fare has strict rules, as it cannot be exchanged or returned. The ticket price includes carry-on baggage, whereas all additional services are provided for a fee;
• economy basic — baggage is included in the price of the ticket, and the passenger can change the departure date;
• economy classic and plus — these two fares have the most flexible conditions. The passenger can exchange a ticket or change the date with a minimum fine within 12 months. The fare and in-flight meals are included in the price.

Business/Executive travel class:

Business class passengers enjoy exclusive services from the moment they arrive at the airport. For instance, they benefit from a separate check-in counter, expedited border control, business lounge services, and priority boarding. On board, customers receive an individual travel kit as a gift; face mask, moisturizer, and refreshing wipes are included. The seatback features a personal 12-inch display and Phitek noise-canceling headphones that provide access to the onboard entertainment system. Moreover, a dedicated team of flight attendants will greet you with a welcome drink. You will be able to enjoy Portuguese cuisine and desserts throughout the flight.

Baggage and carry-on baggage

Baggage, its weight, and allowance depend on the class of service on board and the type of selected fare. The weight of carry-on baggage must not exceed 8 kg and the sum of three dimensions must not exceed 118 cm. The bag must fit into the upper compartment of the cabin. Additionally, each passenger can take one small bag up to 2 kg with personal belongings into the cabin.

Carry-on baggage:

• economy class fare — one bag up to 8 kg and one small bag up to 2 kg;
• business/executive class fare — two bags up to 8 kg and one bag of personal items weighing up to 2 kg.

Checked-in baggage:

• economy discount fare — the baggage is not included;
• economy basic fare — one piece of baggage weighing up to 23 kg;
• economy classic fare (destinations to Europe and Africa) — one bag up to 23 kg;
• economy classic fare (long-haul flights) — two bags up to 23 kg;
• economy plus fare (destinations to Europe and Africa) — one bag up to 23 kg;
• economy classic plus fare (long-haul flights) — three bags, 23 kg each;
• business/executive class — two bags weighing up to 23 kg.

You have the opportunity to check-in online with the help of the official website of the air carrier or smartphone application 36 hours prior to the departure time. Simultaneously, people can check-in at the airport either through the check-in counter or self-service check-in machines.

Menus on board

All meals for TAP Air Portugal passengers are prepared with the finest and natural ingredients. Passengers with special food requirements can order a menu from the list in advance: vegetarian, religious, children's, diabetic, for passengers with allergies.
