Rainbow Beach is in the eastern state of Queensland, Australia. Brisbane, the state capital, is 239 kilometers away. The city, located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, in the south, is adjacent to Great Sandy National Park. Several walkways laid out on its territory are on the southern edge of Rainbow Beach. To the north is the Inskip Peninsula Recreation Area, the state forest reserve. The amazing Fraser Island is located just north of it. The city advertises itself as a "Gateway to Fraser Island" as car ferries to the island depart from Cape Inskip, north of Rainbow Beach. Fans of quiet and relaxed holidays, fishing and eco-tourism lovers, and many retired people come here. The city has a developed infrastructure, wonderful beaches, hotels, and motels for any purse.
