Indonesia extended quarantine on arrival to 7 days
Due to the spread of a new strain of Covid-19, Omicron, in several countries around the world, Indonesia increased the quarantine period for those arriving from abroad from 3 to 7 days. The quarantine applies to Indonesians themselves, who arrived from abroad, as well as to foreign tourists.
Officials (ministers and those close to them), holders of diplomatic visas, and members of G20 summit delegations entering under travel-corridor agreements are exempt from quarantine.
To date, no new strain of the virus has been reported in Indonesia.
