The Rialto Bridge in Venice was opened after a long renovation
The oldest and most famous bridge in Venice, Rialto, opened after a long renovation. It was built in 1590 and had never been extensively reconstructed before 2015. The renovation cost the Italian fashion holding OTB Group 5 million euros.
In fact, the bridge's restoration was completed in 2019, but the opening ceremony had to be postponed because of the pandemic. The legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli, who performed the Italian anthem and an aria from the opera Turandot, was invited as an honored guest.
