Jasper
Jasper is a tiny town located in the National Park of the same name in southern Canada. Jasper is the commercial center of the park, located in the valley of the Athabasca River. It is approximately 300 km from the nearby airports of Calgary and Edmonton. Tourists come to enjoy the nature of the reserve at any time of year. But most people travel here in summer. They drive around the park by car, go hiking, cycling, and horseback riding, climb mountains, try rafting, canoeing, fishing, and taking pictures of amazing scenery. The most popular among tourists are the ancient Athabasca glacier and the 23 m high waterfall with the same name; the narrow, amazingly beautiful Malin Canyon, the trout-infested Medicine Lake. For the convenience of tourists, the park has over 1.2 thousand special trails and routes.
