Guilin
Guilin urban district is located in southern China, in a picturesque place in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the country. It is situated on the banks of the Li River in a region with unique natural karst formations. The settlement on these lands appeared in the 4th century BC. The beauty of mountain formations with a peculiar relief of the area captures the spirit of tourists. Original landscapes excite the blood of more than one generation of creative personalities and romantic natures. The creators of world-famous films admired the local views. Guilin and its vicinity have become excellent scenery for the film "The Painted Veil", as well as for "Star Wars". The third episode of this epic film, Revenge of the Sith, was filmed here. The hallmark of the city is the most beautiful Elephant Trunk Hill. Guilin has the Cave of seven stars — one of the most beautiful in the world.
