The new City Hall is built in the neo-renaissance style. Martin Haller became the main architect, while the project itself was chosen among 128 suggested variants. It’s a splendid building with an elegant tower 112 meters in height. The building consists of 647 rooms, while the tower of the City Hall is crowned with an enormous clock. There are niches between the windows where the sculptures of twelve German kings and emperors are located. Here you can see rulers starting from Charlemagne and to Franz II.
