Trier
Trier is located in the south-eastern part of Germany on the banks of the Moselle. It has a thousand years old history. A walk around this small German city will bring you wonderful emotions. Ancient Roman buildings and palaces of the Rococo period, Gothic cathedrals, and modern mansions peacefully coexist here. Trier is the only place in the world with the best-preserved monuments of antiquity. Holy relics, brought from Jerusalem by Empress Helena, are kept here. It is the birthplace of her son — the great Emperor Constantine.
