Liechtenstein
Liechtenstein is a small country in Western Europe. It is headed by a prince who has almost absolute power. The name of the principality comes from the name of the ruling dynasty. It is the only German-speaking country in the world that has no common borders with Germany. It is an interesting fact that the state has not had its own army since 1868 — it has not participated in any wars or military operations since then. There is also no airport or railroad; the only public transport is buses. But there is a fascinating nature and picturesque views, ancient castles overhanging gorges, and medieval architecture in cozy towns. Tourists come here to dive into the local fairytale, go skiing, sightseeing, cheese and wine tasting, and enjoy life.
