The city with the atmosphere of the 60s: peace and love

A walk on the rainbow — from the endless sandy beaches to the rainforests of the Sierra de Vallejo

Sayulita

Sayulita is located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean in the west of Mexico. The town is situated to the north of Puerto Vallarta. A picturesque road leads here, which is in the middle between the Pacific coast and the tropical forests of the Sierra de Vallejo. Surfers have discovered these places since the 60s and told like-minded people about kilometers of golden beaches and perfect waves. Since then, Sayulita has become a popular holiday destination for Canadian and American holidaymakers, with regular festivals and celebrations. It is not for nothing that tourists describe the exploration of Sayulita as a walk on the rainbow. Tiny shop windows of local artisans' goods are painted in bright shades of pink, orange, blue, and yellow. Here you can buy leather bags and handmade shoes, jewelry, rustic ceramics, and much more.
