Queenstown
Queenstown is a New Zealand resort city located on the coast of the glacial Wakatipu Lake, in the bay of the same name with the name of the city. It is located in the southwest of the South Island and is surrounded by amazingly beautiful mountain ranges. Guests from all over the world come to Queenstown; it is famous for its opportunities for active pastime and adventure tourism. The city is a recognized ski center in the country. In addition to winter sports, you can go mountain biking, hiking, rafting, boating, jumping at breakneck heights with a rubber rope, and fishing. The natural beauties of the city and its environs became the reason that many famous films were shot here, including The Lord of the Rings and X-Men: The Beginning. Wolverine. A jazz festival is held in Queenstown every year.
