St Lucia

Saint Lucia is a settlement in the east of South Africa. In 1999, it was awarded the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can go on a two-hour cruise, during which you can watch hippos, crocodiles and a lot of birds. That is why thousands of tourists come to Saint Lucia every year. Do not miss the chance to go looking for turtles on the coast of the iSimangaliso Wetland National Park. Here are the largest leatherback turtles in the world and the most beautiful loggerheads (big-headed sea turtles). On the way to the beaches, you can even meet leopards, buffalos, hippos and other animals. Also in Saint Lucia, you can watch whales, go horseback riding or night safaris and snorkel over coral reefs. A 45-minute drive from Saint Lucia, there is a Zulus village that lives by ancient customs.
