Bath is located in the southwest of England near Bristol. The distance from London is 150 km, or an hour and a half by car. Bath is a well-known balneological resort with the healing thermal springs that even the Celts were aware of. It is also one of the most beautiful English cities. The golden age of Bath came in the XVIII and XIX centuries when almost all the aristocracy of London came here. Architects Wood, father and son, rebuilt the city in the Georgian style, which is characterized by restraint and the principles of classicism. The architecture of the old part of Bath is in the same architectural style and perfectly preserved to our time. Bath is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The city center is located on the right bank of the River Avon. There are the Roman Thermae and Bath Abbey, just beyond which you can see the City Hall.
