The homeland of the iconic Harley-Davidson bikes and "bridge to nowhere"

Milwaukee

Milwaukee is the largest city in the state of Wisconsin. It is located in the north of the United States, on the west coast of Lake Michigan. The first mention of a white settlement on this site dates back to 1795. It is in Milwaukee, where the headquarters of Harley-Davidson company, which produces world-famous iconic motorcycles, is located. In the city, you can see an exhibition at the Milwaukee Art Museum. It displays many pieces of fine art, both classical and old school, as well as contemporary works. Tourists can also admire the architecture of the museum building and the Quadracci Pavilion. Beer lovers should visit the Museum of Beer & Brewing. It is also worth seeing the Hoan Bridge over the Milwaukee River, which is over 3 km long. It was nicknamed the "bridge to nowhere" because of the problems with the construction and operation of the structure.
